If you'd enjoy the self-discipline involved in achieving Enlightenment through meditation, introspection, practicing yoga and learning ancient healing arts, the life of a Siddha Master may be your destiny.

What They Do

Siddha Masters are spiritual teachers who have attained Enlightenment by studying meditation, yoga, sounds, mantras, astrology, numerology and natural medicine under the guidance of eminent gurus. Once Enlightened, they have the ability to teach others how to awaken their dormant spiritual energy and to guide them to the state of the Truth. Their students learn how to achieve personal growth and improve their quality of life by changing their consciousness, becoming more self-aware and bringing their minds, bodies and spirits into harmony.

Qualifications

Siddha Masters study with esteemed gurus until they achieve a high degree of self-realization (Enlightenment) and have proficient healing skills. They then must prove they have the ability to inspire others to awaken their dormant spiritual energy and to begin the path to their own Enlightenment. Masters must understand the challenges involved in following the path and be exemplars of an Enlightened life.

Thus, being a Siddha Master is more than a career-it's a lifestyle. You live your work and "walk the talk," and you support others who desire to embark on a similar journey of self-discovery. You help people overcome fears and barriers that hold them back from leading fulfilled lives and you teach them how to integrate mind, body and spirit.

The Demand

As the world is becoming less predictable, more people are turning to spiritual teachers who are expert in the ancient practices of the great Indian gurus, including Siddha Masters, who offer group and individual sessions and workshops in which they train others how to follow Siddha practices. Some open schools and/or travel to different regions and countries to reach out to students who wish to follow the Siddha path.

Not all Siddha Masters are full-time teachers: some have another career and teach the Siddha way part time. And some Siddha Masters take other jobs because they prefer not to receive any compensation for training others in Siddha practices.
